When my world comes undone,
And it seems I am the only one.
There before me shines a light,
To brighten the darkened night. |
No longer am I alone,
This light has clearly shone,
A world so very new,
Where I have found you. |
You light my way
With your bright, shinning ray
Pointing me towards
Love, life’s greatest reward. |
With the love your light gives
I have a reason to live
Now I am whole
In my heart and my soul. |
Your light has shown me
I need never be lonely
I need never fear
For your light will always be near. |
Will you take my hand
As we explore this new land?
We will go side by side,
Your light will be our guide. |
I am drawn to you,
And your love so true.
You are my light
In the dark night. |
When my life is done,
